What aidWeb does
aidWeb is the community where you can receive and exchange your experiences on rare diseases in a simple and safe way. This makes easier to be always updated on topics of your interest.
Signing up on aidWeb you can:
-search and contact patients interested in your same rare disease
-search and contact patients close to you, who are interested in the same disease
-help other users by telling us your personal experience
-ask and answer questions on the community
-follow topics and diseases of your interest
-vote contents made by other users
Using your “Personalised profile” you can:
Pick and choose the diseases and topics of your interest. In this way every time you sign in you will be able to be updated immediately on the news that more concern you: you can find new themes of your interest and new users you can contact, you can see what you friends have posted and follow the news on the discussions you follow.
How to sign up:
The enrolment is free and open to everyone. All you have to do is to pick the profile that most suits you (patient, family, association etc.), invent an user name and write your e-mail. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that you will have to confirm within 48 hours. If we do not receive the confirmation about your sign up within 48 hours, your facts and registration will be cancelled.

Your privacy is really important to us. If you treat this kind of data on social networks as Facebook or Twitter, you risk to say informations that might compromise your future. On aidWeb users are anonymous, and there is the possibility to pick any level of privacy.
